One of the first projects from repair class is making a large and small poker. They have several different uses such as an aid in removing glued in pads. I struggled a lot because it took me awhile to get the file at the correct angle.

When getting new tools it is always imperative to make sure all surfaces are smooth. Here I am sanding all the contact points of the tools. This can take awhile depending how bad they’re scratched from the factory.
